The following service improvements are scheduled to take effect on Sunday, May 16th, 2021.
Weekend Time Adjustments
Time adjustments will be made to inbound trips on Saturdays and Sundays only for the following routes.
- Route 2 – Georgetown Road
- Route 6 – North Broadway
- Route 9 – Eastland
- Route 11 – Richmond Road
This will improve overall route performance.
Route 3 – Tates Creek
Time adjustments will be made to inbound trips EVERYDAY (Sunday – Saturday) and outbound trips on Saturday and Sunday only.
This will improve overall route performance.
Route 8 – Versailles Road
Additional trips will be added to serve Keeneland and the Bluegrass Airport on Weekdays (in place of Route 21 – Airport/Keeneland). Time adjustments will also be made to Route 8 inbound trips on Saturdays and Sundays.
This improvement will provide service to the Airport and Keeneland again and meet increased demand on the Versailles Road corridor.
Route 12 – Leestown Road
The outbound routing will be adjusted to serve Antique Drive. Stop 814 – Leetown @ Forbes outbound will move to Antique Dr.
The inbound schedule will be adjusted to provide an increase in frequency to Opportunity Way. The stop at BCTC/VoTech will be moved to Leestown Center Way to improve connectivity with the Driver Licensing Regional Field Office. A new stop will placed on Opportunity Way to serve the new Veteran’s Affairs development.
These improvements will increase access to businesses and residences in the area and will improve the overall safety of the route.
Route 24 – Old Frankfort Pike
Service on this route has been suspended since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This route will resume normal weekday service once these service improvements take effect.
