Board of Directors

Board Members

The business activities of Lextran are managed and controlled by a Board of Directors, comprised of eight members appointed by the Mayor. The length of each members term may vary. To submit an application to serve on the Lextran Board of Directors, please click here.

Harding Dowell was appointed to the Lextran Board of Directors in July 2020. He became Board Vice Chair in July 2021 and later became Board Chair in November 2021. His term will expire June 2024.

Jamie Rodgers was appointed to the Lextran Board of Directors in July 2020 and became Board Vice Chair in November 2021. She is also a member of the Lextran Finance Committee. Jamie’s current term expires June 2024.

George Ward was initially appointed to the Lextran Board of Directors in July 2015 and was reappointed in July 2019. He is also a member of the Lextran Finance committee. George’s term expires June 2027, serving his third term.

Dr. Akakpo was appointed to the Lextran Board of Directors in May 2021. He is also a member of the Lextran Finance Committee. Dr. Akakpo’s term expires June 2026.

Judge Hughes Thurston was appointed to the Lextran Board of Directors in May 2021. Her current term expires June 2026.

Paul Schoninger was appointed to the Lextran Board of Directors in November 2021. His term expires June 2025.

Leidy Borges-Gonzalez was appointed to the Lextran Board of Directors in August 2022. Her term will expire in June 2025.

Addison Lowry serves as Legal Counsel for the Lextran Board of Directors. She is a member with McBrayer PLLC.
