Lextran will offer free rides on all routes Tuesday, Nov. 7, to increase access to polling locations for the general election.
All Lextran routes will be free of charge on Tuesday, November 7 to increase access to polling locations for the general election.
“Lextran is proud to offer fare-free rides this Election Day,” said Fred Combs, Lextran Director of Planning, Technology & Community Relations. “We hope our services can help with the transportation barrier that so many in our community face in accessing the polls.”
The polls are open from 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and individuals can find their polling locations by visiting this link: https://vrsws.sos.ky.gov/vic/.
