As a thank you to our riders and the community, Lextran will be offering free rides on Thursday, November 22nd for Thanksgiving.
Due to Thanksgiving, some routes will also be impacted on Wednesday, Nov. 21. Route 14 Blue/White (Stadium) will operate from 6:40 a.m. to 6:06 p.m. Route 26 (Green Route Connector) will operate from 6:39 a.m. to 6:03 p.m. Route 15 (Red Mile) will operate from 6:56 a.m. to 6:14 p.m with only 1 bus.
All routes will operate on a Sunday schedule. Therefore, these routes that typically operate on Thursdays will not be in service:
- 14 (Blue/White)
- 16 (Southland/BCTC)
- 17 (Northside Connector)
- 18 (Centre Parkway Connector)
- 21 (Airport/Keeneland)
- 22 (Mercer Road)
- 24 (Old Frankfort Pike)
- 26 (Green Route Connector)
There will be no service on Friday, Nov. 23 for routes 14 (Blue/White Stadium) and 26 (Green Route Connector).
Route 15 (Red Mile) will not have services on Thursday, Nov. 22 or Friday, Nov. 23.
On Sunday Nov. 25, Route 27 (Yellow Route) will operate from 10 a.m. to midnight.
Lextran Customer Service (859-253-INFO) will be open for phone support and walk-up window service from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
