About Reasonable Accommodations
Lextran will make reasonable modifications and accommodations to its policies, practices, and procedures to ensure program accessibility. The nature of an individual’s disability will not preclude Lextran from providing full access to its services.
Exceptions
Some exceptions apply. These exceptions include when the modification or accommodation would:
- Cause a direct threat to the health or safety of others
- Result in a fundamental alteration of the service
- Is not necessary in order for the individual with the disability to access the service
- Results in an undue financial and administrative burden for Lextran
How To Make A Request
If you would like to request a reasonable modification to any Lextran service prior to utilizing that service, you may do so by contacting the Lextran Compliance Specialist at (859) 255-7756 or by completing the contact us form here.
The individual requesting the modification should provide:
- Name
- Contact information
- The service for which the request pertains; i.e. fixed route (provide specific route information), Paratransit, or access to a Lextran facility
- The specific details of the modification request
