Title VI Update Public Meetings

Lextran is seeking input on its updated Title VI Program Plan. Title VI was enacted as part of the landmark Civil Rights Acts of 1964. It prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance. Every three years Lextran gathers feedback from the public on how our services, or potential changes to service might impact riders and submit a plan to stay complaint with Title VI. We are currently seeking public comment on the plan submission for 2019.

A draft of the plan can be downloaded here in PDF format.

The public comment period will open on July 22nd and close on August 2nd. Public meetings will be held:

• Tuesday, July 30 | 11:00 am | 195 Life Ln., Classroom A

• Wednesday, July 31 | 6:00 pm | 200 W. Loudon Ave., Room 110

Please email info@lextran.com with questions or comments.
